The Best Investment I Ever Made

I recently listened to a Tim Ferris podcast, and at the end, he asked Tony Robbins what the best investment he ever made was. Tony said it was investing in a Jim Rohn seminar. 

I started thinking about that answer and realized the best investment I ever made was investing in a Tony Robbins seminar.  From that one event, I have met some of my best friends over the years. I did a year of Platinum Partners with Tony Robbins, was introduced to my mentor Keith Cunningham, did security for Tony, and grew both personally and professionally.  Crazy right!?

What both our answers had in common was that our best investment was not in real estate, not in the stock market, but in ourselves. No investment pays the same dividend or the same ROI as an investment in yourself. An investment in yourself makes you richer and richer in all areas of your life. 

Warren Buffett says, “Ultimately, there’s one investment that supersedes all others: Invest in yourself. Nobody can take away what you’ve got in yourself, and everybody has potential they haven’t used yet.”

If the number one investor of all time says this, Tony Robbins agrees, and Tim Reynolds M.D. says the same, you would be wise to listen.  

Take the time, pay the money, and invest in your own self-improvement.  Become a better you.  Create your best self and your best life.  There is no better return on your investment… than YOU!
